Chapter 31

By the time Glen got to the theatre, Aiden still hadn’t written back. He also wasn’t waiting outside. Glen stood by the door for a few minutes. The front of the theatre was decorated with a banner advertising the current show. Across the bottom in bright bold letters it read, “All the world’s a stage for the men and women of Merely Players!” No one on the street seemed to give the sign much thought. Even if they had, Glen still couldn’t quite see the allure of the Merely Players’ theatrical style. They had hired Stephan, which in Glen’s mind indicated they were either desperate or had poor taste.
