Chapter 7

“Honey, I have all the time in the world.” She looked at her watch and stood up to go. Gathering the trash, Nel said, “I’m glad we had lunch together. Made my day. We’ll work out that date night soon, okay?”

“Looking forward to it.” I waved to her as she left, watching the confident way she walked, and noting the tight fit of her uniform pants as they clung to her firm, shapely rear end. Very, very nice. Things were looking up.

“So are you ready for tonight?” Cressie asked me a couple of weeks later as we did inventory in the backroom.

“More than,” I replied. She knew about my lunch with Nel and was almost as excited about tonight as I was.

The past week had been spent indulging in mild flirtation. I’d said I wanted to take it slow, but something about Nel made me re-think that. Maybe it was knowing she was interested in me and liked the same things that I did. Everything I’d learned about her just made me want more.
