“You need to see your father, Jason. I know he acts like an idiot sometimes, but he loves you.”

“And I love him, but I’m tired of his insults and supposedly helpful suggestions. The last time we had dinner, he said I was irresponsible and told me I needed to keep my options open and start dating women.”

“You know how your father is. He has a hard time with your homosexuality.”

“I told Dad I was gay when I was a teenager. When is he going to come to terms with it?”
