They take a table in a corner and Trey orders a Porterhouse with baked potato and salad, and then looks at Jesse.
“Order whatever you want, Jess.” Jesse’s seen the London Broil is the cheapest thing on the menu, so he asks for that, with the same side orders as Trey. After the waitress walks away, Trey folds his arms on the table and smiles at him.
“Heard you come from Texas,” he says. “Whereabouts?”
Jesse’s a bit taken aback that Trey knows that about him. He knows stuff about Trey of course—born in Houston, Texas, on September 19, 1987, has one older brother and a younger sister, his middle name is Jonathan, and he has starred in several box office movies—but Jesse certainly didn’t expect Trey to know anything about him.
It gives him a nice feeling.
“Hey, Jess? Earth to Jesse. Jess, hellooo?” Trey snaps his fingers under Jesse’s nose and Jesse breaks out of his reverie, smiling at Trey sheepishly, feeling himself blush.
“Umm, you were saying?”
