Chapter 26

“I haven’t told him yet.”

“Will you, though?” I didn’t want to judge his actions for fear of feeling like a hypocrite, since I had slept with Just while Armin was doing his world traveling.

“Eventually. First, I have to find the balls to do it.”

“You sound happy, Armin.”

“Is it that obvious?”

“It is,” I replied, unable to lie. He did sound rather cheerful, on cloud nine, high as a kite, and on a different planet. “Are you falling in love?”

“I’m not sure. Perhaps. Nico is very special to me, though. He wants to take me to Limnos Island for a few weeks. This is why I’m calling.”

“You’re staying longer over there, correct?”

“I am. Nico says I can’t leave Greece until I visit his village.”

“It sounds rather exciting. I would probably stay myself.” Again, it wasn’t a lie. If a gentleman friend wanted me to spend two weeks on a Mediterranean island with him, I would definitely go.

“We’re leaving tomorrow.”
