“Well, get her back! I wanted to show her my Dalmatian collection.” Calista frowned.

“Sweetie, I…I don’t think I can.” Alexis lifted her daughter into her lap with another long sigh. “You see, Lynn and I…we had a little disagreement.”

“Did she take one of your toys? I know I get mad when that boy at schools takes mine.”

“No,” Alexis laughed. Her fingers brushed over her daughter’s mane of gold.

“You should talk to her. Ms. Reynolds always told me that people should talk and not fight.” Calista snuggled into her mother’s arms. “And I had fun with her. I want her back!”
