“Yeah, only a few, but I have a prescription. If you can’t make it there, just have her take three Tylenol.” Doctor Bailey handed the scribbled piece of paper to Alexis, along with enough pills to do for one day. “Be sure to keep her awake for the next few hours and to wake her up during the night.”
“I know. I’ve had experience before. She’ll be in good hands. Thank you so much, Doctor Bailey.” Alexis smiled.
“You’re welcome. If you need anything, you’ve got my number.” Doctor Bailey stepped away, allowing Alexis to walk into the room.
“Thanks,” Lynn said with a smile when Alexis stepped beside the bed. “I didn’t want to be hounded by the paparazzi at the hospital.” The hotel had closed off the entire top floor and moved them to the rooms across the hall, much to everyone’s relief.
