“I’ve missed you.” Lynn exhaled slowly.

“I’ve missed you too.” Alexis leaned across the chair arm. “I’ve missed you so much.”

“Does this mean you’ll stay with me a few days in New York?”

“Yes,” Alexis nodded. 28

“You seem nervous.” Alexis’s fingers locked together with Lynn’s as they strolled through Central Park. After arriving at JFK, Lynn had called upon a limo to drop her and Alexis off at her Manhattan penthouse apartment. Her apartment was located in the prime realty area, directly overlooking the exquisite Central Park. After dropping off their bags, Lynn had insisted they walk to the park. The trees swayed in a light breeze.

“A little,” Lynn grinned. She glanced at Alexis, replaying her plan over and over within her mind. ‘Nervous’ was putting what she was currently feeling mildly. She tightened her grip on Alexis’s hand and lifted the soft skin to her lips for a kiss. “I’m glad you’re here with me.”
