Three weeks had elapsed since Seth had left New York. During that time Mack had worked on making contact with real estate agents in Montana to see what they had to offer that would meet their needs for the bar project. He had taken care of business in New York and his calendar was freed for him to go.
He’d also called his children and told them he’d be gone for awhile on business. He didn’t mention Seth or the nature of the business. He didn’t know how to do that. They didn’t know Seth, had only seen him in pictures of their parents’ wedding. Mack couldn’t imagine ever telling them he had once had a man as a lover, let alone that he’d reunited with him and was going to go into business with him—the business of owning a gay bar. What would they say to such news? How would they react?
