Saturday night they visited The Eagle, a leather bar located a ways from the hotel. “Ta do more research,” Seth had said with a wicked laugh.
The bar, while interesting, turned out to be not to either man’s liking.
They returned to the hotel and spent the rest of the night and all day Sunday making love, wrestling, teasing, dozing in each other’s arms, and making love again until it was time to leave for the airport.
Sighing, and turning away from his office window, Mack’s thoughts remained on the final hours he and Seth had spent together. Before last week, before Seth Buchanan had burst back into his life, Mack had buried that side of himself—that gay side—buried it deep. Even after Nancy had passed away, the thought never seriously occurred to him to explore that aspect of his personality again, let alone look up his old lover. Now, however, it had come to the surface, expressed itself, and it seemed like it was here to stay.
