For Dave Felder, his junior year of high school starts with a move from his small hometown to a larger city. With the new home comes a new school, East Leyden High. He isn't the least bit reluctant to leave his old school. Once popular and well-liked, things changed when he was outed to his fellow students. A new school gives him a fresh start, where no one knows him or his secret. Tall, handsome, and athletic, he soon finds himself surrounded by new friends, the popularity he once lost regained. But he doesn't count on meeting someone who brings out the feelings he hoped to keep buried inside. Someone like Ricky. Once these feelings surface, Dave has to make a choice -- continue to hide who he really is and protect his popularity, or be true to himself.

Stallions and Studs: Shoulda Been a Cowboy

Wade nuzzled the top of Charlie’s head. Charlie took a deep breath, snuggled tighter against Wade and closed his eyes. 


“What’s goin’ on between you and Jared?” Wade asked when the song ended and another began.


Charlie opened his eyes. At first he didn’t understand the question. “What do you mean?” 


“I mean, are ya jist buds, lovers, boyfriends…what?” 


Charlie hesitated. What was his relationship to Jared? They were more than buddies. But lovers? No, not really, not anymore at least…maybe at one time. When talking about him or when Charlie introduced him he used the term ‘boyfriend.’


“We live together,” Charlie ventured. “We have sex…”


Wade leaned back and Charlie looked up into his handsome face. “But there’s nothin’ serious goin’ on? Just fuck buddies? Right?” There seemed to be a hopeful tone in his voice. 


Richard’s words from earlier in the day came back to Charlie, Seems he picks out one guy every week and makes them his project.
