“Mr. and Mrs. Johnson have already given us the names of their suppliers,” Roger said.
“All I can say is well done,” Charles said.
“Well done indeed,” I said.
“Be sure and send your mother a picture of this, Steve,” I said.
“Been there, done that,” Steve said.

SUNDAY EVENING STEVE and Roger dropped us off at the airport. After we checked in, we met Raymond Delaney in the Delta Sky Club and I introduced him to Philip.
Delaney was a tall, slim, very intense man in his late fifties. He and Philip seemed to take to each other and we talked at length about the next day’s hearing.
“I’m not looking forward to it,” Raymond said.
“Why not?” Philip said.
“Because most of the Senate hearings I’ve seen have turned into a circus. Hardly any genuine questions are asked. All the committee members seem to do is make long and convoluted speeches.”
“In other words, grandstanding,” I said.
