“He looks very
cold,” he said.
“Sitting on that
bench, I’m not surprised.” Eddy sounded worried. “Poor sod, he’ll end up with
piles for New Year.”
“Piles of what?”
Eddy frowned at
him in the mirror. “Never mind, I’ll explain later. Would you consider giving
him a lift home?”
“If he wants
one, of course.” Nuri mentally postponed what he was going to do to Eddy as
soon as they got in the front door of the flat. He had a joke stocking from the
market that he’d filled with new lubes for them to try out, after it turned
