Chapter 16

Zeke arrived Monday morning shortly after Sally left for work, and we went straight to bed. I was turning into a real horn dog, and loving it. When we’d finally worn each other out, Zeke asked me to go to lunch.

“Zeb wants to go to Pizza Italian, and I told him we’d go with him—if you want to.”

“Sure. It’s one of my favorite places, but I think we need a shower before we go anywhere.”

“Yeah.”

When we were showered, dressed, and in the car, I said, “Is Zeb waiting for us at the restaurant?”

“We’re picking him up at the house.”

“George and Mike’s house?”

“Yes. You’ll like it when you see it. Oops, sorry. Forgot.”

“It’s all right, Zeke. I understand.”
