Chapter 25

Brody and Brian saw each other as often as their conflicting schedules permitted that term, and they somehow managed to spend most of their time together in bed, reveling in the newfound pleasure their bodies provided. The term ended without incident, and Brian had his Master’s, which meant he could go to work at his father’s firm, as well as sit for the CPA exam as soon as it was offered.

Before he started with the firm, Brian took most of the month of June off. Brody had by then been with the department long enough to have accrued several vacation days, and he and Brian spent them at the lake house. Brody was working up the courage to ask his grandfather an important question when the old man beat him to it.

THEY WERE HAVING breakfast one morning, and Brody’s grandfather surprised them totally when he said, “Brian, you’re spending most of your time here with Brody, so I think it would be good for both of you if you moved in with him.”
