“Is she ever any other way?” Stefano
questioned.
“She was great to me when I ran into her,”
Logan said, straightening a pillow in a chair.
“Ummm,” Stefano mumbled.
“What’s that mean?” Logan asked, folding a
throw that lie spread out on the couch next to Stefano
“When Stefanie’s nice to you, that’s when you
need to watch out,” Stefano said.
“Oh, please,” Logan said. “She was great to
me. She said she was thrilled you had found someone so nice and
that she was glad all this blood feud stuff was over.”
Stefano looked at Logan and slowly asked,
“You really don’t think I know my sister?”
“It’s not that I think that,” Logan answered.
“It’s just that sometimes we get so used to seeing our family’s
faults that it’s hard for us to see their better qualities.”
“How do you know? Except for the whole
murdering bit, it sounds like your family’s perfect,” Stefano
asked.
