Chapter 37

“Good to see you, Mr. and Mrs., Wilson,” Quentin said. “I hope you’re well.”

“Thank you, Quentin,” Mrs. Wilson said. “We’re doing fine, considering.”

“How was your flight?” Nate said.

“Flights,” his grandmother said. “We had to change planes in Atlanta.”

“Have you had lunch?” Quentin said.

“No, we didn’t have time before we left Chattanooga, and they don’t serve lunch on such short flights,” Mrs. Wilson said.

“Good,” Nate said. “We’re going to treat you to lunch at one of our favorite spots, before we go to the house.”

“How far is it to Ocala from here?” Mr. Wilson said.

“Roughly a hundred miles,” Quentin said. “It’ll take about two hours to get there.”

“Nate, honey, can we stop by your house before we go to the restaurant?” Mrs. Wilson said. “I’d like to freshen up a bit, and not in a public restroom.”

“Sure, Grandma,” Nate said. “The restaurant isn’t too far from the house.”

“Do you have checked luggage?” Quentin said.
