Chapter 51

Mrs. Wilson turned off the DVD player and the television set. “They just don’t make movies like that anymore.”

“That’s for sure,” Quentin said. “Did Nate call you just now? He says, if I can drive you folks to the restaurant, he’ll meet us there.”

“Yes, he did,” she said. “When should we leave?”

Quentin looked at his watch. “If we leave in about ten minutes, we should get there about the same time he does.”

Ten minutes later, they were in the Mustang and on their way. “Are you okay back there, Mr. Wilson?” Quentin said.

“It’s a bit cramped, but I’ll manage.”

“Good. It’s not too far to the restaurant, so you won’t have to put up with it very long.”

“I know,” Mr. Wilson said. “You boys took us there Sunday.”

At the popular eatery, they found Nate waiting for them, so they joined him in the line in front of the cashier. There wasn’t much of a line, and they were able to place their orders fairly quickly.
