“Sure,” I said.

“Why don’t we let Jamie stay with Robbie tomorrow morning? That will give you guys time to get his room ready and go buy some furniture. We can all have lunch together, and you can show him where he’s going to be living.”

“We’ll need to rent a trailer to bring the furniture home,” I said.

“That won’t be necessary,” Rion said. “I can think of three furniture stores that will, for a fee, expedite both delivery and setup of furniture.”

“Yeah,” Philip said. “It’s been my experience that if you wave cash in front of people’s faces, you can get things done.”

“Listen to the man,” Charles said. “I’ve seen him do that more than once.”

“I just thought of something else,” I said. “Has Jamie seen the video his mother left for him?”
