He locked it after Dallas closed the door because Dallas’s luggage was inside.Otherwise he wouldn’t have bothered.There was nothing worth stealing in the SUV,and frankly there wasn’t much crime in the town in the first place.People didn’t even lock their houses most of the time.


Noah tried to walk and not stalk into the market.He put a few magazines for the farm into his shopping cart and moved on to find the few different kinds of cookies he knew people liked.


It wasn’t regular shopping,more like treats for everyone on the farm because of the stress he’d put them through.He was also buying some stuff for dinner,because Rider had asked him to.So far both Rider and Erica were fitting in fine,or so Maxim had told Noah that morning,just before he read him the riot act.
