The winter three years ago had given them so much snow they had been in serious trouble.The barn had been close to collapsing,and the men had had to climb the roof of every building to try and lessen the burden by shoveling enough snow for a lifetime.

The kids had loved it,though.Building everything from snowmen to walls and snow castles,they had the winter of their lives.At least until Jude and Anton discovered the joy of digging tunnels in the snow—and one of them collapsed on top of the boys,burying them both.They nearly suffocated in the snow,and only the pure luck of Sean and Mikael happening to walk by had saved them.

Needless to say,snow tunnels were banned for good,and the boys had built a huge snow dragon next.

The horses finished their meals,and Noah grabbed the buckets,while pushing Mikael toward the house.“Go make up with your man,”he said with a grin.
