She went to her little boy and rested her hand on his shoulder. None of the young people seemed to have picked up on what Denny had let slip. Tad was busy putting the tape into the VCR.


“One of these days we have to get a DVD player,” he said.


“I know what someone’s getting for Christmas,” Rush murmured.


“I already have something in mind.”


“You’ll just have to wait, Rushboy.” Tad was grinning so broadly Babe thought his face would split. “Okay, everyone. Let’s get comfortable. It’s showtime!”
