“If you are going out, I’m coming with you. I don’t want to stay here with these two sour spinsters.” Alex grabbed his jacket and slapped Gabriel on the head. “And I’m not the Princess on the Pea, okay? You’re an idiot!”


Daniel chuckled, grabbing his keys and walking outside the apartment.


Alex realized it was the first time they were going to do something just the two of them, alone without their friends, in a place that wasn’t their house.


“They love you,” Daniel finally said, winking at Alex, distracting him from his thoughts.


“You are kidding, right?” Alex replied with a grimace.
