“Are you done with making fun of me?” he hissed.


“Well, he’s not completely wrong,” Daniel passed by and gave him a nudge with his hip.


Gabriel chuckled and Kevin bit his lip, probably to avoid laughing hard. Alex knew he must look like a dying fish. He tried to compose himself and pretended to be unaffected.


“You know I don’t care to celebrate, but I’m sure even if I told you not to organize anything, our apartment would be filled with barbarians in any case.”


The day of Alex’s birthday, and also the last day of school, Daniel found Matt waiting for him outside the building. Sometimes Matt surprised him and picked him up from school, so they could spend some time in his apartment before Daniel went home to his roommates.
