Chapter 30

Maverick looked over Dirk’s shoulder, chuckling. “KiltedSeer382?”

“He anagrammed my name.” Dirk turned to look at him. “I could do that for you, for your password, if I knew your real name. It would be a good thing for you to have access in case of emergencies.”

After hesitating momentarily, Maverick said, “This is between you and me and no one else. Okay?”

“Yes.” Dirk had just said that to push Maverick’s buttons, so he was surprised Maverick was actually willing to tell him.

“Greg Ayers.”

“You’ll always be Maverick as far as I’m concerned.” Dirk went to the program Jesse had used and entered Maverick’s name. “Pick one.”

“Damn,” Maverick muttered as he looked at the list. “GreyGears? GreyRages?”

“RaggySeer?”

Maverick snorted. “Not even. Let’s use GreyRages with some numbers.”

“You got it.” Dirk set up Maverick’s password to access the laptop and told him what he needed to get into Dirk’s online account.
