“Oh my God! I never thought I’d see you again,” Bo said, throwing his arms around Chad. He then held Chad at arm’s length. “Are you really here? What happened? What about your mother and sister?”
“Yes, sir, it’s me, in the flesh! Chad Armstrong at your service.” Chad smiled and wrapped his arms around Bo.
Stepping back, Chad started to explain how his mother had left for England, but just then another Rough Rider rode up and dismounted. He was tall, blond, with deep blue eyes and a pleasant face.
“Chad, I want you to meet someone special. This is my friend Colt, Colt Evans.” Bo put a hand on Colt’s shoulder and gave it a squeeze.
It reminded Chad of when he and Bo had first met, how Bo had laid a hand on his shoulder with the same affection. Colt turned to look at Bo with a warm smile.
