“Clever.” Jake smiled at the reference of their favorite animation film.


After a moment Brian decided to take the plunge. “Jakey? I was thinking if I could invite Adam over for dinner. So you can meet him.”


Jake considered him for a moment. “That sounds good. But I’ve already invited Henry. If you’re okay with that?”


Brian stared at him blankly. “So you want me to introduce my boyfriend to my coach?”


“Boyfriend? I didn’t know we were at the label stage already.”


“Then it’s a good thing you get him over here. I should set eyes on the guy who’s got my Brian blushing something ferocious.”


“I ain’t even blushing,” Brian argued.


Jake laughed warmly as he sidestepped a flung pillow and made his way out the door.
