A fireball burning up the sky leads farmer Jason Thomas to the strangest thing he's ever found in his pumpkin patch. A man with wings. When Danny first showed him the halter top though, Jason had his doubts about the silky, clingy scrap of lime green fabric. “Castiel can’t fit into that, even if he was willing to wear such an awful color.” Such a hideously bright lime green. “Plus, how’s he gonna get the back band over his wings?”


So, they took the idea to Levi and it was his brilliant contribution to cut the back band and tie it instead. Jason loved his genius little brothers.


It was a chore to hack out the backs of his old tee shirts, but Castiel watched with a luminous fascination in his big dark blue eyes. Cut off the sleeves, cut a big circle in the back from almost the collar hem to just about an inch or three from the bottom of the shirt, cut the bottom in half. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.
