“Okay.” Seconds later Todd took off again.
“He’s having a blast,” Martin commented, watching his son fondly as the boy wrestled with Jive.
“I think Jive’s having just as much fun. All he gets from me is long walks and an occasional swim in the inlet. Maybe we can make this a…monthly happening?”
“I’d love to,” Martin replied. “Or, if you’re game, twice a month?”
“On the weekend so you can spend the afternoon.”
