Those violet eyes rolled up to show white, and Alex, trying to resist the urge to slide deeper into him would have panicked were he not half drunk on lust.


Whether by accident or intent, Mani squeezed down on him and forced a wild sound to emerge from deep in Alex’s throat. Something attacked his neck, warm and wet, but the sharpness of Mani’s teeth was the only thing to make him recognise a love bite in progress.


Alex jerked his head back, holding on to the last of his sanity. He needed to know Mani could take him. He would rather cause Mani a brief spike of pain and take his time than to have Mani continue in agony.


Eyes blazing violet stared at him above lips drawn back in a snarl, hands holding on and clawing at the back of his neck and breath hissing out, demanding, but if this were a demon it was one borne out of lust. Mani growled.


Alex shook his head, fighting against the tight grip at his nape. “I don’t care how we came together, if all I’m doing is hurting you now.”
