Cam had driven into Bethesda and Dave had guided her through the streets.
“This is a fancy neighborhood,” Cam commented as they passed massive mansions.
“This is right around the Chevy Chase Golf Course.”
Cam nodded.
“There are business places a few blocks away.”
A few blocks away were a large medical building, another office building, what looked like a high-priced beauty salon, and two restaurants, one Thai, the other a steak house.
“That’s the place.” Dave pointed to the steak house.
Cam started to pull the car into the parking lot.
“No, ‘round back.”
He pointed to an alley beside the restaurant. Cam drove down it until it ended at a brick building. Cam stopped the car and put it in park.
“Wait right here,” Dave told her. He got out of the car and walked up to the building and knocked on the door. When it was opened he stepped inside and it closed behind him.
