“Well?” Riadh asked.
“It seems like I only get that feeling when I touch something magic.”
“I think maybe this is the result of what the dragon did.”
“She wasn’t very specific, so you may be right. I still can’t tell what any of the things do when I touch them, only if they’re magic or not.”
“I remember when Mistress Mildred bought the keys. It was quite a few years ago. Even my magic doesn’t often give information about the operating properties of an object,” Riadh said.
“Do those keys open electronic locks?”
“No. They were created about a hundred and fifty years ago. You have to have a keyhole to insert them into.” Riadh cradled the loop of keys in his palm.
“Do you think there would still be a market for them?”
“As in listing them for sale on Zeeold?” Dale referred to the website for magic users.
“Yeah.”
“I suspect there might still be interest. If a magic user was sufficiently talented they might even be able to modify them to unlock more modern types.”
