When he glanced at George, his uncle had dozed off. He kissed the top of George’s head and let himself out. On the way home, he turned off the heat in the car and rolled the window down. There were still a few warm days left before the end of fall.
The more he thought about what George said about happiness, the more confused he became about the situation, except that Mary Ellen wasn’t the right choice for him. The answer lay in his feelings for Garrett.
Although George assumed Eron spoke about a different woman, George’s advice hit it’s mark. What about Garrett made him happy? Was it love or just lust?
