“Two and one bathroom down there.”

Johnette clomped out of one of the bedrooms, her eyes glazed, the first sign of early onset boredom. “There’s no room for us to live here.”

Johnette shook her head before she raised her nose and made for the stairs. “I see this as a dusty dump.”

Garrett shook his head. “Thank you for your time, Sandra. I have some calls to make before I sign anything. I’ll give you a call mid-week, if that’s all right.”

“Absolutely. Call me any time.” Sandra pulled a business card from her purse. “This number rings to my home office.”

They joined Johnette at the foot of the stairs.
