After a few days the tattoo on Thor’s back was complete. In order to finish the design, Thor needed to either sit or stand. His back was too tender to be lain upon. Once again, Iakob was there to give Thor the support he needed when fatigue and light-headedness assailed him.
By late afternoon one day after the two men had been with Jaheim over a week, the tattoo was completed. Iakob helped Thor to stand and look at himself in a jeweled hand glass that Jaheim held before him. Jaheim told them the glass was a gift from a pirate he had tattooed some years before. As Thor inspected the creature that now coiled itself around his body, for a brief moment his image dissolved and that of Captain Wyvern appeared. The captain was smiling that same evil seductive smile he had that night when Thor had submitted to his demands.
No! Thor forcefully pushed the picture from his mind.I am not Wyvern. The Dragon is not my life. Wyvern faded from the glass.
