Thor’s reputation had spread, not only because of his success at plundering, but because of his fair and humane treatment of those ships he commandeered. He became known for his kindness and morality. Nonetheless, he was not looked upon as weak among his fellow pirates and none dared cross him. Pirates from other ships often approached him when they went ashore and asked to be made part of the crew of The Dragon and serve under Captain Drakon, the man with the Dragon tattoo.

“She is Dutch,” Ezekiel told Thor as they stood on the quarterdeck looking out over the ocean at a ship that had just been sighted. “Probably carrying grain, timber, or cloth.” He lowered his glass and turned to Captain Drakon. “Enough to bother with?” he asked.
