Chapter 37

Matt and I talked about our holidays. He and Craig had spent Christmas Eve with Craig??s sister, her husband, and their three kids in Bucks County and Christmas Day with Matt??s family in New Jersey. When Matt and I first met, he told me his parents had been extremely upset with him when he came out during his first year of college. But, as time passed, they eventually came to accept his homosexuality and now welcomed him and Craig into their home. Craig??s parents, on the other hand, refused to have anything to do with him. He rarely saw them, but he did maintain a good relationship with his older sister who hadn??t turned him away as their parents had.
