Sean, I figured, must have barricaded himself in either the bedroom or the bathroom because he was nowhere to be found.

Without my consent, Linzer went to the bathroom and looked inside before opening the bedroom door.

??Come out please,?? he said to Sean, who looked absolutely terrified as he walked into the living room followed by the officer.

Sean reached into his back pocket and removed his wallet. His hands were shaking as he pulled his driver??s license from inside and handed it to Palmieri. Palmieri scrutinized it for a few seconds before handing it to Linzer. Linzer looked at it and an odd expression came across his face.
