??He calls every few weeks to ask about the baby.??

She shrugged. ??I guess. Who knows? He was really angry with me when I told him I was pregnant. He accused me of doing it purposely to get back at him.??

I remembered how angry Jay had been when I??d brought up the subject of Olivia??s pregnancy. How he??d blamed her for railroading some poor guy before turning his anger on me, claiming I put her on a pedestal and worshiped at her altar. God, what an asshole.

??I assume he??s taking care of Courtney financially.??

??He is,?? she said vaguely. I waited for more information, but she didn??t provide any. I almost asked how much money he was giving her each month, but I didn??t because it would have been rude to do so. Plus, I doubted she??d tell me anyway.
