The new furniture I bought for my new apartment reflected more of my own personality. The massive mahogany king-sized bedroom suite Jay bought for me was replaced with a reasonably sized modern queen set in solid oak described by the furniture salesman as having a ??cappuccino veneer finish.?? The new living room furniture I bought was comfortable and in earthy colors that brightened the room, a welcome change from the dark leather sofa set Jay had picked out for me.
