While celebrating the Supreme Court same-sex ruling, Josh hides his deep aversion to marriage. He lets his lover Adam believe they’ll eventually marry. But when his wedding-planner mother pushes him too hard to take that step, Josh declares in anger he won’t ever marry Adam.<br><br>Adam overhears and flees. Crushed at having been led on, he takes refuge at his old hangout. There he runs into his ex-boyfriend, who tries to take advantage of Adam’s vulnerability. Adam mumbled something and snuggled closer, rubbing against him. Josh’s morning erection swelled in response. He cast a hopeful glance at the clock and frowned. No time. He had to be at work in less than an hour. Promising himself they’d make up for it later, he slipped out of bed and headed for the shower.


When Josh came back to the bedroom, Adam was awake. Well, mostly. Scrubbing his eyes and looking adorable, the sleepy man yawned and asked, “Do you have to leave already?”


“I wish I didn’t. You should go back to sleep.”


“I don’t know if I can. One of us has to call your mom. She needs to know we accept her offer of a wedding ceremony on Saturday.” He swung his legs out from under the covers and looked at Josh. With a note of uncertainty in his voice, he said, “We aregetting married on Saturday, aren’t we?”
