Chapter 28

Thinking of that reminded Caiden he needed a full floor plan of Kingsley’s island home. He called Rian to tell him, getting a rather acerbic reply that, “I figured you would and emailed it to you.”

At least he’s got it together. Now if he’s able to get good videos of Kingsley, it will make things easier for me.

He got home to find one very annoyed cat stalking the main room.

“Sorry, Styge,” Caiden said repentantly, trying to pick him up. Styge was not ready to forgive, however. He darted into the kitchen, looking at the empty bowl for his wet food. Dry food wasn’t an issue, as Caiden had gotten an automatic feeder for that, as well as a four-gallon automatic water dispenser.

Caiden opened a can of cat food, dishing it into the bowl while making a mental note to have Zander send someone out daily while he was gone to take care of Styge.
