Chapter 18

“Propositioning you? I think so. I won’t be offended if you say no. It’s not like we’ve known each other for all that long.”

“True, but we have kissed, so I think we are interested in each other. I mean I don’t kiss every man I meet, even though I haven’t met many except himself and, well right now he’s history.”

“Maybe that’s where we should start.” Griffin stepped close enough to put his hands on Daniel’s shoulders, his gaze moving from Daniel’s lips to his eyes where it paused, as if he was looking for permission to make the next move.

With a soft whispered, “Yes,” Daniel gave it to him.

They kissed slowly, exploring each other’s lips as they hadn’t before. Tentatively, Daniel pressed his tongue to the slit between Griffin’s lips and Griffin opened to him. When he did, the kiss turned heated. Daniel wrapped his arms around Griffin, savoring the taste and texture of his mouth and the heat of his body.
