“Let you? I’d love it. Spruce the place up a bit.” Adam smiled. “Would you like to come see my boat tomorrow night? I’m not open on Mondays so maybe you’d want to stay over.”
“I’d love to see it. We’ll see about staying over. I’m not sure Leo should be left home alone.”
Adam crossed his arms. “What’s Leo? Nineteen?”
“Yeah, he is. And I know. We’ll see. It’s…Leo has had some things happen and I’m just cautious.”
He nodded. “No pressure. But you do want to come? Say four? So we have time to enjoy the daylight a bit.”

Galaxy parked his car in the public parking lot adjacent to the docks where Sutter’s Bay’s boats were slipped. It had turned into a simply gorgeous Sunday. Not a cloud in the shockingly vibrant blue sky. The temperature was a perfect seventy-five with a very slight ocean breeze. Days like this were surely why the city of Sutter’s Bay had been founded in the first place.
