It was not a slow morning at Yolks on You, despite it being a Friday, and Halloween, and Kiko was closing at 11:30 for the parade. This should have made the hours drag, which Kiko would have been grateful for. After all the stress the night before, he could have taken it easy. But all of Mount Angus was fearfully, excitedly abuzz with the Apple Barn shooting; everyone knew someone that had been there, and most people had known at least one of the three dead.

People wanted to gossip. People wanted to talk out their emotions and thoughts. People wanted to knoweverything. And Kiko found some of them in his store.
