“If you gentlemen don’t mind,” Angel said, “I’m going to call it a day.”

“I should as well,” Reynolds replied. “I suspect Zane could use some rest after you putting him through his paces, Angel.”

“Actually,” I said, checking the time, “I’m due at work in an hour. It wouldn’t pay to be late on my second day.”

“Not if you want to keep the job, and make your boss happy enough with you that he won’t blow a fuse when you need a day or two off to do your other job,” Angel said.

“That should be interesting.” I wondered how I’d handle that, then decided I’d figure it out when the time came. 4

“As long as you only need two days off, and it’s during the week,” Garth said, “it shouldn’t be a problem.”
