Chapter 6

Frankly, I looked silly in nothing more than a pair of tight boxer briefs. Because an untamable cold had swept throughout the cabin, my nipples were hard, and I had goose pimples running up and down my legs. No matter what, through hell or high water, I was not going to be bullied by a nauseating trespasser or Pihu. Someone needed to be threatened and put in his or her place.

I intended to unlock the door, swing it open, and blast the person with, “Stop being obnoxious! Don’t you have someone better to bother?”

Nothing of the sort transpired. Rather, I opened the door and discovered a smiling Timber Skenandoa in human form, holding breakfast in a bag and two coffees for us. Perhaps the shock of that glorified morning just happened to be me: sexy in my tight underwear, goose pimples raised on my chest because of the cabin’s chill, and nipples erect. Curly blond hair hung over my eyes, which I puffed away so I could see the handsome man in front of me.
