“Morgan, you should look happy, your lawyer’s on his way and you’ll be out of here on bail.” Then Doyle remembered that Giorgio had been murdered and Morgan was dealing with that. Tough place to deal with grief. But he’d have enough of his own problems to keep him occupied for a while.

“Whadda you want, you creep? You put me in here and because of you Giorgio was mur…” He couldn’t speak for a moment. “Leave me alone, will ya? I don’t wanna talk to you or anybody.” His voice was filled with sadness.

“Just a few questions and, like I said before, this could help make things easier on you.” Doyle placed his hands on the cold metal bars and gazed at Tim. The kid’s face was pale and his features were delicate.

Tim glared at Doyle for a moment, then seemed to think things over.

“Go ahead. What choice do I have?”

“What’s your brother’s name? He seemed like a nice guy, concerned about you and all.”

“His name?” Tim cocked his head and looked at Doyle.
