Shit.

That broke the spell. Stretching his arms above his head, Rick leaned back in his seat and felt the burn in muscles that had begun to lock up hours earlier. Weariness dragged him down; he fought back a yawn and struggled to keep his eyes open. Maybe he’d call it an early night. When was the last time he’d let himself get so immersed in a project like that? Usually he set a time limit, took frequent breaks, doled out tasks over a couple days so the work didn’t consume him entirely. But he wanted to get the site done for Marty as soon as possible, partly so he’d have an excuse to see the man again. Sure, they were scheduled to meet up on Friday, but Rick hoped if he got the site done sooner, he might be able to go back to the comic shop earlier, without Micah in tow, and have Marty to himself again…
