Chapter 12

“I’ll be coming in tomorrow afternoon for my usual though,” Aaron remarked with a smile.

“Of course. I’ve also prepared them for today.”

“Thanks, babe. You’re the best.”

“You’re welcome.”

Aaron left after he had paid for the pastries. Dylan could only stare at that sexy ass longingly.

“Oh, well,” he mumbled to himself. “Time to get busy with the rest of my orders.”

“Dylan?”

“I’m in the kitchen, Marcus. Give me five minutes,” Dylan yelled out.

He had to decorate the cakes with plenty of Christmassy colors. The customers had also requested that the cookies were “spruced up” to be “cheerful” and “reflective of the spirit of Christmas.” He shook his head in amusement at the weird demands some customers had. It took him almost twenty minutes to complete everything in the kitchen, but the results were astounding. He had to admit that he worked best under pressure.

“All done?” Marcus asked when he was walking out with several boxes all at once.
